Brewing Grade Malt Extract - Unhopped Dark - Finished Product Specification
Description
Unhopped dark malt extract is made from malted barley and crystal and porter malts and is a very dark brown/black viscous liquid with a characteristic burnt malt flavour. The extraction process inactivates the diastatic power.
Application
Unhopped Dark Brewing Grade Malt Extract can be used as a brewing adjunct.
Also Malt extracts are often used as a flavouring and colouring additive in the production of malt drinks, malted chocolate drinks, biscuits, breakfast cereals, malt bread, beers, baby foods, confectionery and candy manufacture. Malt extract can in fact be used wherever malt flavour is required. Malt extract has high nutritional value in terms of protein and carbohydrate.

Storage
This malt extract comes in a sealed container to preserve flavour and sterility. Once the seal is broken it is recommended to store in cool conditions.
